Treatment must be taken within 5-7 days of when symptoms begin to work. COVID-19 medications such as the Paxlovid medicine can stop the virus from multiplying in your body, help you test negative sooner, and may lower the risk of developing long COVID symptoms. You do not need to have insurance or US citizenship to get these medicines for free. Remember if you test and treat, you can beat COVID-19!

If you test positive for COVID 19 and do not get an appointment with your own physician, you can take an advantage of this platform by using QR code or sesamecare.com/covid19 or call 855-780-3855 and start your treatment faster with in 24 hours.

Follow these steps if you start to feel sick:


1. Get tested for COVID-19. Call the statewide COVID-19 hotline at 833-422-4255 or go to https://covid19.ca.gov/get-tested/ to find free COVID-19 testing.

2. Act fast to seek COVID-19 treatment You have multiple options. .

a. Ideally, call your doctor or urgent care center. If you have insurance, you can call the number on your insurance card to get help with making an appointment.

b. Find a Test-to-Treat location near you. To find a site, call the statewide COVID-19 hotline at 833-422-4255.

c. If you are uninsured or cannot connect with a provider within 24 hours, call the statewide COVID-19 hotline at 833-422-4255 or visit https://covid19.ca.gov/treatment/


3. Isolate from others for at least 5 full days.

4.. Tell people you’ve recently interacted with that they may have been exposed. You can do this by calling, texting, or emailing or notify them.
